Dr. Seuss Guest Book Printable & Pom Pens

Just dropping in to share a quick free printable.  I got this idea from Hostess Blog and loved it!  Unfortunately they didn't offer the printable so I created my own version of it. Cindy got the Happy Birthday to you book [Thanks Auntie Marlaine] and it is now her party guestbook.  Isn't it adorable?!  I love that she will have something special from her first birthday and something we will read every year!

I spray painted this silver frame I got at the dollar store red [and a few others with Boo Bear's pictures in them] and then I dropped it and it broke in half so I had to add the bow to cover up the messy glue job to the corner that refused to stay together.   Oh well I guess.   I printed the printable at Staples for 70 cents.

And does the madness ever just stop there?! Nope.  I had extra fur and ribbon so I created some Seuss-y pom pom pens.  Essentially the same way you make the pom sticks except you put the wire next to the pen and hot glue the ribbon on it.  Aren't they cute?!

There is a boy version and a girl version of the printable so just choose which you need.  Just click Actions and choose which size you need.

Due to some inquiries on how to add the name to the guestbook page, I have included instructions below.  First, download the Dr. Soos Light Font from HERE.  If you would like me to do it for you I charge a $1 payable via paypal.  Just shoot me an email.

Then, click on which page you need, right click on the image, and download the LARGE size of the photo.  Once it is downloaded, open the photo to view it.  Right click and open up the photo in paint.

Then, click on the font button, select the Dr. Soos Light Font, change the size to 25, change the color to red, and add the font to the bottom.

To add the heart; select the heart, then choose watercolor for the fill, change color 2 to red, and add it next to the name.

It seems like a lot but it really only takes about a minute to do.  If you are still having trouble or don't think you will be able to do this, send me an email with your child's name [and tell me if it is for a he or she] and I will do it for you.

  4. I would love for you to help me out with my son's 1st birthday ... I can't seem to do it!!?!?!? Is there any way to leave out the last few lines about "On the front, back ..." I am just using a mat for guests to sign not a book, so this doesn't apply. :) Please let me know if you may be able to do it. Thanks!
